This Pandemic has affected many lives. People have lost their loved ones, lost their lives, lost their life works, their jobs and gone into depression. It has affected me and my fellow colleagues in football also. The leauge has still not started even though promises have been made. It seems that we get different news everyday about when it will start. What I have come to understand now is that, it's obvious what it is about. And the pandemic is just something to blame. It's a shame! It is embarissing!! The question(s) are: Is this putting Indonesia on the international football map? (It does, but in a negative way) Is it helping Indonesian football develop? Are you setting an example for the kids, the people and the rest of the world. Are you handling this like you yourself want to be handled? Do you think that I and my colleauges feel valued, understood or that you care about us? Or will you answer what you always answer "this is indonesia"? One thing is for sure, after handling a crisis in this way: Indonesia will not be an attractive place for footballers to come to, neither will it be a safe place to get a job in. I, as a foreigner, would like to tell my friends and family what a great place this is to play football in. What a great country it is to live in. Obviosluy i can't at the moment, is that the reputation you want? But I do love this country, I do love the people and I do love to do what I have done most of my life, wich is to play football. That is why im pouring my heart out now, beacuse I care about this country and I miss doing what I love the most. But now, plikada or no plikada, or whatever the reason is, you have stopped me and many others from doing their job for far to long for me to just sit back and be quiet. While other countries have finished their leauge and started a new one, with even worse covid conditions than here, we in indonesia are having the same status...
